Welcome to GFWC Kitsap Peninsula - when you join our club, you are joining the largest and most influential organization of women in the world today - the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC). By working together we can accomplish something which alone we could not realize.

When you put all the letters of Welcome together, what we are doing is extending the hand of Friendship.
Organizations we are working with include: YWCA, Scarlet Road, Stitch & Serve, Kitsap Humane Society, Bremerton Backpack Brigade, Children of the Nations.
Scholarships - Every year in January we accept applications for scholarships. High school senior girls or girls attending college with plans to attend a college in Washington State are eligible.
GFWC Kitsap Peninsula members are active in GFWC Peninsula District, GFWC-Washington State, GFWC Western States Region, and GFWC by attending conferences and conventions. Members often hold offices or chairmanships on one or more of these levels.

We joined the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) in 1947 and have been volunteering and doing community service ever since.

Food Drive
We collect food at our monthly meetings for local food banks. We support South Kitsap Helpline, Bremerton Food Bank, Bremerton Backpack Brigade and Central Kitsap Food Bank.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month Members made purple ribbons for the YWCA to hand out at their events this month for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
